Tomball, TX – Tomball Regional Health Foundation is excited to announce its recent grant award to the Tomball Lions Club to purchase six pairs of hearing aids for people with financial need in our community. Without the Foundations support, the Lions Club would not have been able to help these families. “We look forward to a long relationship in providing support for families in great need, according to Al Gerhardt, Lions Club Treasurer.” The six sets of hearing aids for this program were purchased through Kienholz Hearing Center and Costco. All recipients have received their hearing aids and are now doing follow up visits to get them properly adjusted. One of the recipients is 15-year-old young man who was born with Bright’s Kidney disease and at 12 days old they detected his hearing loss. This assistance is so helpful for him to increase his hearing ability in his daily life....
