TRHF strives to enhance the communities we serve through the addition of a modern administrative office complex and learning center on 5.5 wooded acres in the heart of the Tomball Medical Center. This building will be utilized to assist our funding partners and for programs that support our mission of improving healthcare in the greater Tomball region. The surrounding park area will be open to the community. It will include a shaded walking trail complete with fitness stations, a sensory garden for special needs individuals, a tranquil stocked pond, a covered pavilion, and other outdoor features that promote health and wellness in our community.

Supporting the Greater Tomball Community

Welcome to the Tomball Regional Health Foundation, formerly known as the Tomball Hospital Authority. The Tomball Hospital Authority was the owner and operator of Tomball Regional Medical Center from its founding on August 11, 1976, until its sale to a subsidiary of Community Health Systems, Inc. on October 1, 2011. The hospital was then sold to HCA Healthcare Houston on July 5, 2017.

Our mission is to promote wellness and improve health status for all residents in our communities through programs that enhance access to health care, preventative care and health education.

TRHF executes this mission by funding non-profit organizations that provide health and wellness programs and activities in Tomball, Magnolia, Waller, Cypress, Klein, Spring, and surrounding communities.

Tomball Regional Health Foundation Is Happy To Grant Concordia Lutheran High School The Funds To Support Clinical And Safety Needs

Tomball, TX (July 28, 2017) Tomball Regional Health Foundation announced today that it recently awarded a grant to Concordia Lutheran High School to help support clinical and safety needs as well as the implementation and support of mental health initiatives to address adolescent concerns that are currently affecting our students and our community.

This funding will help provide First Aid/CPR Certification and Skills Training for all Concordia staff as a life-saving measure on campus. It will also enable Concordia’s counseling department to receive additional training to adequately address key mental health issues that are affecting all teens in our community, and implement quarterly programs on topics such as suicide prevention, substance abuse, depression, bullying, anxiety, to name a few. This grant award will also support the development of clubs and organizations at CLHS to empower students against these issues. In addition, Concordia will sponsor targeted training/workshops for our parents and community on critical topics related to adolescent mental health, in accordance with the provision and guidance of family resources for these specific areas. “We are pleased to be able to not only support these new initiatives at Concordia Lutheran High School, but the children in our community who will benefit from them, said Jack Smith, TRHF Chairman of the Board.”

According to Joel Bode, Head of School at CLHS, “Concordia Lutheran High School is thrilled to receive this grant from the Tomball Regional Health Foundation. We will now be able to provide professional development and training for our faculty and staff in areas to enhance student and school safety, as well as hold workshops related to clinical, safety and mental health programs for parents and community members. This will not only be a benefit for our Concordia community. It will also be for the Tomball community.”
