Administrative and Learning Center

TRHF strives to enhance the communities we serve through the addition of a modern administrative office complex and learning center on 5.5 wooded acres in the heart of the Tomball Medical Center. This building will be utilized to assist our funding partners and for programs that support our mission of improving healthcare in the greater Tomball region. The surrounding park area will be open to the community. It will include a shaded walking trail complete with fitness stations, a sensory garden for special needs individuals, a tranquil stocked pond, a covered pavilion, and other outdoor features that promote health and wellness in our community.

Supporting the Greater Tomball Community

Welcome to the Tomball Regional Health Foundation, formerly known as the Tomball Hospital Authority. The Tomball Hospital Authority was the owner and operator of Tomball Regional Medical Center from its founding on August 11, 1976, until its sale to a subsidiary of Community Health Systems, Inc. on October 1, 2011. The hospital was then sold to HCA Healthcare Houston on July 5, 2017.

Our mission is to promote wellness and improve health status for all residents in our communities through programs that enhance access to health care, preventative care and health education.

TRHF executes this mission by funding non-profit organizations that provide health and wellness programs and activities in Tomball, Magnolia, Waller, Cypress, Klein, Spring, and surrounding communities.

TOMBALL REGIONAL HEALTH FOUNDATION IS PLEASED TO GRANT TOMBALL EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE MINISTRIES FUNDING $100,000 FOR THEIR EMERGENCY DENTAL AND MEDICAL PROGRAMS

TEAM-Log_20190920-142122_1

Tomball Regional Health Foundation (TRHF) is proud to announce the partnership with Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries (TEAM) to provide emergency dental services to qualifying adults and seniors and medical care to low-income families, in the Tomball, Magnolia, and Waller areas. Both the dental and the medical program will receive $50,000 for the coming funding year.

During the course of 2018 dental grant the funds allowed TEAM to cover the expenses of emergency dental services for 47 adult or senior clients at an average cost of $830. The goal of both organizations is to not only alleviate the pain and suffering caused by tooth decay and infection, but to also prevent oral diseases from developing into more serious health complications. The renewed grant will go a long way to help the men and women in the area.

These grants allow TEAM a broader offering to serve the needs of low-income families in the Tomball community. TEAM Executive Director Barry Hart expresses a large measure of appreciation to the Tomball Regional Health Foundation for their ongoing support of TEAM’s mission. “TRHF is honored to provide funding for the dental and medical services to the men and women in the greater Tomball, Magnolia and Waller communities to assure prevention of tooth decay, oral disease and the overall health of the members in our community,” according to Lynn LeBouef, TRHF CEO.

TEAM also provides financial and food assistance to lower-income Tomball-area residents who are experiencing an unusual shortfall in meeting their living expenses, or have an emergency family event that they are not able to cover. With the help of local churches and businesses participating in the Tomball Benevolence Network, TEAM is also able to provide other services such as emergency auto repair or plumbing in the event that TEAM clients have such a need.
